Joe Matthews co-founded The Matthews Group, Inc. t/a TMG Construction Corporation in 1992. He has more than 40 years in leadership roles within the construction industry, and has been responsible for designing, constructing, renovating, and maintaining a variety of low-, mid- and high-rise commercial and institutional buildings and site work projects valued in excess of one billion dollars.
Joe possesses high standards and a modern approach to the construction industry including systems, procedures, key performance measures and various management tools necessary to ensure high levels of performance.
As a USGBC-LEED Accredited Professional, he also holds a certification from the American Institute of Contractors (AIC) as a Certified Professional Contractor #965. In addition, Joe has General Contractor’s Licenses in Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland, Arizona, Tennessee and Michigan.
