Ribbon Cutting Held for Air France

On July 19th, Air France held the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new First Class Lounge at Washington Dulles Airport.

The attached photo shows, from left to right, Vanna Oak, Station Manager for Air France; Philippe Etienne, French Ambassador to the US; Bas Gerressen, Senior Vice President Air France KLM for North America; Mike Stewart, Vice President of MWAA and Airport Manager of IAD; and Stephane Ormand, Vice President and General Manager of Air France KLM for USA.

TMG recently completed construction of the new, $3.2 million first class lounge for Air France at Dulles International Airport. This 11,500 SF renovation included a complete gut and remodel of their existing lounge as well as a second level expansion complete with a new elevator, a full kitchen equipped with a two-level dumbwaiter, a buffet food service display, two bars, multiple custom seating areas, and restrooms. There was extensive coordination of high end, custom finishes including millwork with integral power and audio/visual equipment, powder coated metal and glass liquor displays, and custom installed plaster wall panels. In addition to finishes, the renovation included modifications to the existing life safety systems, and modifications to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to accommodate the new layout and additions to the lounge.

The Upper Level lounge was completed and opened on May 15, 2019. The lower level was completed for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 19th.
