The EPG Sanitary Sewer Project involved the construction of a 14” sanitary sewer system that originated from a manhole located on the shoreline of the Accotink Creek and extended through heavily wooded and exceptionally steep terrain to the New Campus East development.  The scope of the work included extensive erosion control measures to protect the Accotink Creek during the project’s duration, and then the implementation of natural restoration techniques to restore the shoreline once the work was complete.
