TMG was proud to have partnered with Waypoint Contracting, Inc., a company founded by a former TMG employee! As the primary subcontractor on this bid-build project, TMG performed $14.9M of the work which involved the construction of a new two-bay hangar facility dedicated to aircraft repairs and corrosion control at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Florida.
Key features of the project included two expansive hangar bays purpose-built for aircraft corrosion control and repairs along with the integration of advanced mechanical and control systems to support specialized wash rack operations. In addition, the project also included an asphalt and concrete taxiway, new utilities, and fencing.
