TMG served as the Prime General Contractor for the TPA Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Major Improvements Project at Tampa International Airport, Tampa, FL. This comprehensive modernization was performed under the FAA’s Large Nationwide Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) contract.
The project involved a full refresh of the existing two-story base building, including selective demolition (with ACM abatement and encasement), installation of new flooring, ACT ceilings, lighting and lighting controls, doors, and painting. The air traffic controller breakroom was expanded to nearly double its original size, featuring new millwork and kitchen appliances. All work was carefully phased and coordinated to maintain full occupancy and uninterrupted FAA operations.
