The James Apartment Complex Upgrades showcases TMG Construction’s expertise in delivering complex, multi-trade renovations within active, occupied environments. This project, performed for the DC Housing Authority, focused on the comprehensive repair and replacement of the parking garage ramp at the James Apartment Complex in Washington, DC.
Additional improvements included the removal and replacement of an exterior pedestrian ramp, cleaning and painting of 48 fence post bases, and comprehensive waterproofing solutions. Building systems were also upgraded, including sprinkler system modifications, installation of new exterior drains and piping, sanitary drain modifications, selective HVAC piping and equipment removal and reinstallation, air intake louver cleaning, exhaust fan inspection, electrical conduit and lighting work, generator service disconnect security, and fire alarm device reinstallation.
The project restored the structural integrity and waterproofing performance of the James Apartment garage, minimizing disruption to residents and building operations.
