As part of a Joint Venture, TMG completed the design-build task order for the renovation and addition to the existing cafeteria on a secure campus.

The existing cafeteria greenhouse seating and kitchen / serving area were completely demolished, including the interior concrete slab to accommodate the new MEP infrastructure.

The project encompasses an approximate 5,000 square foot addition and 2,000 square foot renovation which houses a kitchen, preparation and storage areas, serving line, large new eating area, outdoor patio and access drive. The addition features an open ceiling design over the eating area with exposed mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems framed by exposed large span structural steel members and expanses of glass set in an aluminum storefront on two elevations. The exterior is a sleek metal clad panel system custom factory painted to match the existing building.

This collaborative effort allowed for a continuous flow of the construction process and shortening the overall project duration.
