TMG performed the demolition and reconstruction of approximately 7,500 SF of data center space for a mission-critical client.
The project involved the installation of new power distribution technology to increase capacity, as well as advanced cooling systems. Specifically, the scope of work included the design of a new rack layout and the installation of three new in-room Air Handling Units (AHUs) and four new Power Distribution Units (PDU) with an overhead bus system. The adjoining administrative office area required slab-to-slab wall construction to separate the data center from office space to provide a more secure environment.
Additional scope included the demolition and installation of all components associated with installation of an overhead Bus system with support (power and air) systems to handle the projected heat load.
The project team completed the project two months ahead of schedule with high degrees of customer satisfaction.
