Margey O’Brien is an HR Professional with over 30 years of experience in senior level HR positions with demonstrated success in aviation engineering and aerospace manufacturing. Her skills include Team Building, Employee Relations and Development (Performance & Training), Interviewing, Hiring and On-Boarding, Benefits Administration, and Succession Planning and Organization Development.
Margey takes great pride in not only TMG, but also her role. “I have a unique position within the organization. As a member of the company leadership team, it is my responsibility to help direct policy that impacts the business at the core – its people. I have always felt it is also my job to be the eyes and ears for employees while ensuring the company policy and business direction are maintained. My door is always open when employees have a need,” Margey said.
Prior to joining TMG, Margey had the privilege of working with various service members at Quantico by providing career transition services, which gave her the opportunity to develop and deliver materials on resume writing, interviewing and networking. This led to her co-authorship of three books: Resumes and Cover Letters for Military to Civilian Career Transitions, Personal Assessment: The Key to Success for Military to Civilian Career Transitions and Self-Marketing Strategies for Military to Civilian Career Transitions. These rewarding experiences have allowed Margey to modify that training and incorporate it throughout her career.
