January 15, 2008
Nancy Baker, TMG
On a snowy January morning, TMG President Tanya Matthews was quietly inducted as the President Elect of the Committee for Dulles (CFD) Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Her term begins in January 2009. The Committee for Dulles is a diverse community of business leaders, policy makers and influential individuals who seek to promote Dulles as a premier air travel service provider for the national capital region and an economic catalyst for the surrounding business community. Ms. Matthews has served on the CFD Board for several years. She recently hosted a tour for CFD members of the new Air Traffic Control Tower at Washington Dulles International Airport, which TMG Construction played a key role in getting to the finish line.

Tanya Matthews also recently joined the Board of Directors of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Airports Task Force, the Board of Directors of the ACE Mentor Program (Career Directions for Students in Architecture, Construction and Engineering) and is President and Board Member of the Purcellville Business and Professional Association. In her spare time, she is a member of the Dulles Airport Airline Managers Council and is the Treasurer of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Purcellville, VA, where she lives with her husband, Joe Matthews (Vice President of Operations of TMG Construction Corporation) and their two young sons.
