TMG Construction Corporation of Purcellville, Va., builds on its track record of excellent performance on Loudoun County projects by winning three new contracts. In a recent meeting, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors (BOS) awarded TMG a contract to provide extensive mechanical, electrical and interior work on the Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center as well as two Job Order Contracts to perform a wide variety of construction services throughout the county.

The $1.4 million contract to provide construction fit-out of the Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center includes installing new interior wall and floor finishes, electrical power and lighting systems, mechanical equipment and ductwork, a comprehensive fire-protection sprinkler system, seating and handrails as well as building exterior decks and pavers. "Franklin Park is a Purcellville landmark, and we are thankful we can provide a solution to Loudoun County to get this wonderful facility to completion," notes TMG President Tanya Matthews.

Finishing the performing arts center is a personal goal for Matthews. The facility is the culmination of many years of voluntary efforts among contractors, community organizations, churches and dedicated citizens. Matthews was among the many volunteers who helped with the barn-raising and rebuilding effort after the original structure burned down.

The BOS also voted to award two Job Order Contracts, each valued at $2 million annually over five years, to TMG and two other general contractors to repair and maintain the county’s stormwater infrastructure, provide paving and to perform other miscellaneous construction work at various county locations. "We’re excited to continue our long-standing and successful relationship with the county," notes TMG Construction Engineer Wes Ballinger, who is a Waterford native.

The three Loudoun County contracts are in addition to several TMG contracts with the Town of Purcellville to perform various construction projects, including a recently awarded contract for TMG to construct a modular office building on the campus of the town’s water treatment plant.

TMG Construction Corporation has three offices in Northern Virginia and employs more than 45 full-time individuals. It provides commercial construction services for such clients as the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, American University, United Airlines, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Postal Service, among others.
