Under a multi-year, multi-million-dollar IDIQ contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers-Baltimore District, TMG performed a design/build of an 18,720 SF modular office building and nine acres of site development to house the Integrated Program Office (IPO) of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.
The NGA employs some 2,000 workers at Fort Belvoir’s New Campus East site in Springfield, VA. It is part of the BRAC initiative. The project included $1.5 million of site work and the development of a 400-car parking lot . Other work included mechanical upgrades, electrical upgrades, tenant interiors, specialty demolition, site work, parking reconfigurations, road signage reconfigurations, carpentry, and concrete work.
The project demonstrates TMG’s experience working in secure areas and has developed USACE-approved HTW (hazardous and toxic waste) and MEC (munitions and explosive contaminants) identification, handling and disposal procedures as part of its safety plan.
TMG completed the project a month ahead of schedule and has performed numerous projects in support of BRAC at the New Campus East.
