TMG President Tanya Matthews Hosts Tower Tour
May 25, 2007

On a crisp, sunny day in mid-May, the Airport Activities Committee of the Committee for Dulles enjoyed spectacular views and were treated to a tour of the recently completed Airport Traffic Control Tower at Washington Dulles International Airport. The tour was hosted by Tanya Matthews, President of TMG Construction Corporation. Charlyn Davis of the Federal Aviation Administration conducted the operational side of the tour while Greg Michna of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority explained the design and construction aspects of the 350 foot tall tower. Complimentary charter bus service was provided by Virginia Regional Transit.

TMG Construction played a key role in completing the tower. "Our project crews at IAD are very proud of their work on the new control tower," noted Tanya Matthews. "They went above and beyond the call to ensure the tower was completed on time for crucial airport service."

The Committee for Dulles (CFD) is a coalition of business leaders, policy makers and influential individuals. Founded in 1966, the Committee plays a vital role in promoting Dulles as the premier air travel service provider for the national capitol region and an economic development catalyst for the business community that surrounds it.
