The responsibility of a laborer is to assist other crew members with construction tasks (i.e.: concrete forming, drywall partitions construction, etc.). The role of laborer includes manual labor, errands and escorting as needed, as well as assisting other trades to the extent necessary with hands-on work.
- Must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.);
- The ability to comprehend and follow specific instructions;
- Interpersonal competencies that include a drive for results, the need for closure, effective oral communication skills, organization, planning, trust, respect, cooperation and other non-technical skills that are needed to effectively achieve results;
- OSHA safety training and a current First Aid and CPR certificate;
- Ownership of all hand tools that are required to perform any the task contemplated. (TMG provides all power tools – except battery powered screw guns and equipment.); and
- Current and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must be able to be issued a badge to work at the airports.

- Working cooperatively with the crew to accomplish tasks;
- Maintaining tools, cords and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe for use;
- Maintaining the work area(s) in a clean and orderly manner on a continuous basis;
- Consistently reporting for work on time and in appropriate attire;
- Escorting individuals on airport grounds and running errands as needed;
- Creating lists of materials, supplies, specialty tools and equipment (proactively) that are needed to perform the work;
- Participating in training and other forms of development to strengthen technical, safety and other skills.
